I've got my dancing shoes on and so should you. Here's a catchy little minimal number by Psychic Youth. I just stumbled upon this interview with former member Perry Geyer HERE. Am totally brain dead right now so that's all you get out of me. Enjoy!
The zine is officially SOLD OUT, for now! If you are patient I will be printing 100 additional copies in the near future, so all hope is not lost. At some point I will also start posting the extra material from the first issue slowly on the blog starting next week.
Here's some double trouble, for you. Two songs that are both awesome and eerily similar. Ghost Walks from Portland, Maine. This track is featured on the 1985 half US and half French comp KK77. Secondly, a tune from Japanese group OXZ from their 1985 EP. Take a listen and you'll see why these two are inextricably mashed up in my head at all times.
I am particularly pleased to share this little jam with you. Australian band The Particles. I am not going to tell you much because they are pretty well documented HERE and you can see loads of pics and whatnot as well as links to other info. There are also a couple pics in the book Inner City Sound if you have that lying around.
In other news, issue one of the print zine is out and available to buy at our webstore HERE. They are going fast so get 'em while they last!
